Solution
Intellify implemented a comprehensive solution using Microsoft Fabric, adopting the Medallion Architecture to structure data into distinct layers. This approach ensured data quality and scalability.
We utilized Intellify’s Bulk Data Extract and Load Utility to migrate data quickly from multiple on-prem ERP systems into Microsoft Fabric’s Lakehouse, eliminating the need for on-prem data gateways, ensuring accuracy and reducing processing time.
Additionally, persona-based semantic models were created to provide tailored insights for different business units like finance and operations, with secure data access controls.
As Power BI is user friendly for creating reports and dashboards, we gave access to datasets so that Citizen developers can create their own reports to promote Self Service Analytics. Also, we have defined data dictionary so that Business users can use measures and do not have to worry about DAX like features.
